Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) started off really well scoring 49 runs in the first five overs after choosing to bat first but after that, it was all Sunil Narine on a slow surface where the ball was gripping and the three quality spinners of KKR were all over the Virat Kohli and co in the Eliminator in Sharjah.

Narine first dismissed RCB's hero in their last game KS Bharat in his first over and then followed a magical Narine show as RCB batter kept failing to read him off the hands as the intelligent bowler kept using the surface, which was assisting the slow bowlers to his advantage.

Narine first clean bowled Virat Kohli, in his second over when the RCB skipper wanted to hit on the leg side but was early on the shot and ball crashed into the leg-stump.

In the next over, he followed it up with a peach of a delivery to fox AB de Villiers going through his gate as well and finishing his spell with the wicket of Glenn Maxwell, who has been RCB's talisman in this season scoring 513 runs to finish with figures of 4/21, his best in this season and putting up his hand in the knockout game.

After which it was just a struggle for the lower middle-order as they failed to score any boundaries except for one four by Harshal Patel off the free hit in the final over as RCB could score just 138/7 and the spin trio of KKR put on a proper choke in the middle-overs to not let any of the RCB batters off the hook.
