Fashion designing duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are not just Nita Ambani; 's favorite designers, but also the business partners of her daughter Isha Ambani.
Billionaire Mukesh Ambani and his family, including her wife Nita Ambani and daughter Isha Ambani, are always dressed to the nines in public events. Not only is designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla a close friend of the Ambanis, but also the business partner of Isha Ambani.
Luxury fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are known to have some of the most exclusive and intricate traditional wear in the country. They are also the favorite designers of Nita Ambani and recently partnered up with her daughter Isha Ambani.
While Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla are the go-to designer for the Ambani family when it comes to wedding functions, not many people know that last year, the designer duo’s company entered into a partnership with Isha Ambani’s company Reliance Retail.
Reliance Retail’s form Reliance Brands acquired 51 percent stake in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla fashion label. AJSK currently also runs three fashion labels – ASAL, GULABO, and MARD, all of which have now been acquired by Reliance Brands.
Isha Ambani’s Reliance Retail is a Rs 2.60 lakh crore revenue company, which has secured a major stake in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s label to take the 35-year-old couture company to another level. Abu-Sandeep’s traditional wear is considered to be unique and an investment since the value of each piece goes up with time, according to a 2022 Reliance release.
Before entering into business with the couture specialist, Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani was seen donning Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s unique attires multiple times, including her own wedding.
Isha Ambani’s wedding lehenga, which is considered to be the world’s most expensive lehenga priced at Rs 90 crore, was designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The lehenga had delicate gold thread and incorporated her mother Nita Ambani’s wedding saree in it.
Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla also designed the outfits of Nita Ambani, Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant at several special occasions in the family, and are considered to be one of the closest friends of the Ambani family.
