Here's unseen photo of Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar playing cricket on the sets

It's not easy to get two superstars together in one frame on the big screen. We see huge stars making special appearances in each other's film often but in rare case, they share screen space in full-fledged roles. Back in the late 90s when Shah Rukh Khan played the lead role in Yash Chopra's 'Dil To Pagal Hai', Akshay Kumar was roped in a supporting role. Now, we got our hands on a photo clicked on the sets of the film released in 1997.

In the major throwback photo, SRK and Akshay are seen playing the game of cricket. The photo has 'Khiladi' star batting while King Khan is seen as a wicket-keeper. Going by their look, it seems like the stars played cricket in between shoots on the sets.

Back in 2019, during an interaction with DNA, when SRK was asked if he will work with Akshay, the superstar had said, "What do I say to this? I don’t wake up as early as him. I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me."

Shah Rukh further said, "It will be fun to act with Akshay. Dono set pe hi nahin milenge. Woh jaa raha hoga aur main aa raha hounga (laughs). He’ll be leaving the set and I’ll be coming in. I would like to work like Akshay and with him, but our timings won’t match."
