Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior shows no signs of stopping any time soon, the film collected 4 crores net on Monday which has now taken its total to 29.50 crores for its third week at the box office. The film is all set to beat Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike which had a 37 crore net third-week collection.
According to a report in Box Office India, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior could become the fourth film in history to collect over 40 crore net in the third week. The film is currently on its target to collect the amount at the box office. The film's collection is especially impressive in Maharashtra where it is breaking the records set by Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, and Rana Daggubati starrer Bahubali - The Conclusion.
According to the report, the third week Mumbai circuit collections of Tanhaji would be less than that of Bahubali -The Conclusion but that is only because of lower collections in Gujarat/Saurashtra. The numbers in Maharastra, however, are similar or even higher than that of SS Rajamouli's directed magnum opus in week three in places such as Mumbai, Thane, Pune or smaller centres like Sholapur, Malegaon or Sangli.
Here are the collections of Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior.
Week One - 1,15,28,00,000
Week Two - 77,87,00,000
Friday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
