Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar have had their two films, Gadar 2 and OMG 2 respectively, released last week on Friday, August 11, and the audiences have stormed to theatres to watch the two sequels. While Gadar 2 is an action-packed patriotic drama, OMG 2 deals with the issue of sex education.

Now, a photo is going viral on the internet in which Sunny and Akshay can seen wearing white shirts and hugging each other with the claims that the two superstars met and congratulated each other for the success of their films. The photo has been shared in the sub-reddit 'BollyBlindsNGossip' on Reddit with the caption, "Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol congratulating each other".

However, Sunny and Akshay haven't met each other after the release of their films and the viral photo originally dates back to 2019. The photo was clicked at Dimple Kapadia's mother Betty Kapadia's funeral four years back on December 1, 2019, a day after Betty Kapadia died at the age of 80 in Mumbai.

Dimple Kapadia is Akshay Kumar's mother-in-law (Twinkle Kapadia's mother), and Sunny Deol and Dimple Kapadia have worked together in multiple films including Narsimha, Arjun, Aag Ka Gola, Manzil Manzil, and Gunaah. And thus, Sunny came to pour in his condolences and extend his support at Dimple when her mother passed way.
