A deluge of women have found courage after Tanushree Dutta came out in the open and talked about the sexually harassment she faced 10 years ago on the sets of the film Horn Ok Pleasss.
Tanushree's allegations of misconduct against veretan actor Nana Patekar has created quite a stir and has gained momentum, only for the good.
A number of women from various fields have come out and shared their personal ordeal and incidents of being sexually harassed by men.
The most recent name to have joined the badwagon of perpetrators is that of actor Alok Nath.
A noted TV presenter, producer-director who shared an elaborate account of not just being harassed by 'sanskari babuji' Alok Nath, but also being allegedly raped by him.
This revelation has amounted to agitation amongst the fans and followers of the actor, so much so that netizens have started showing their anger on social media platforms.
Vexed by Alok Nath's behaviour, here's what Twitteratti has to say:
In the #AlokNath case, the joke is on us. This man had a field day raping women and destroying their careers, while we happily bestowed the ‘sanskari’ tag on him. If he was a bonafide piece of shit, we were ignorant morons.

If someone is acting 'sanskaari' in films, does not mean he has those 'sanskaars' in real life too. People put him on that pedestal, lapped him up on Twitter, vying for his attention. There are many like, #AlokNath wolves in sheep's clothing.#TimesUp #MeToo

If side heroes like #AlokNath can use their power to get their own way and commit a crime, how much abuse these superstars must be spreading with their clout!?

If a character artist like #AlokNath can get away with brutally raping a colleague, god knows what all these Lead actors would have done in the last 100 years of Bollywood.

Im pretty sure most men in the film industry are experiencing sleepless nights these days as #aloknath -the so called #sanskaari bapuji makes it to expanding list of predators. Like Kangana said in a film - abhi toh inhe aur zaleel hona hai. Bring it on!

So #Aloknath was not acting in Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety... that's his real persona..

Alright, so those who are shocked at #AlokNath being too 'sanskari' to commit such crime, he has a history of targeting and harrasing women. This was back in 2014, when he thought he was too powerful to take on any woman online and utter nonsense.

We hope that the victims are served justice and the perpetrators are punished.
