Speculations about Shahid Kapoor's darling wife Mira Rajput taking up a career in acting have been rife ever since the duo tied the knot. Finally, Mira has taken the first step into acting and made her debut in a TV commercial for an anti-ageing cream. She took to her Instagram account to share her first ever Television commercial with her fans and followers.
Mira captioned it writing, "Being a mother doesn’t mean you stop being yourself right? Here’s my #Reborn story... what’s yours?"
In the commercial, Mira can be seen expressing how beautiful it is to be a mother and how the birth of her baby daughter Misha, brought her and Shahid closer. She also goes on to say, "I've always been a very hands on mom, so you tend to forget yourself as a woman. The stress, the sleepless nights - my pregnancy glow just vanished.."
While Shahid Kapoor couldn't take his eyes off her wifey in the TVC and commented on her post writing, "Who's that stunner?", looks like the ad didn't go down well with the netizens. The TVC ended up attracting a lot of hatred and negative comments. Mira Rajput was trolled for endorsing an anti-ageing cream at the age of 23.
Some found her acting skills "fake" while others urged her to show her face "without any lighting and make up" before endorsing the cream.

In an Exclusive interview with DNA After Hrs back in March 2017, when we asked Shahid if Mira is considering a profession in acting, he had told us, "She has not told me yet. I don’t think it’s something on her mind. At least not that I know of!”
Shahid had also shared that both of them get quite a lot of offers to do a movie together, "Mira and I have been offered films together. Now toh, very often actually. Mira’s getting more popular (laughs). But no, obviously she didnt’n take up any of them," he said.
