The investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide is ongoing as Mumbai Police is taking statements from and talking to all the people involved with the late actor. Previously, his close friend Rhea Chakraborty had recorded her statement after which Sushant's friends, Mukesh Chhabra and Rohini Iyer also recorded their statements.

On Tuesday, his co-star from his last film, Dil Bechara, Sanjana Sanghi also recorded her statement at Bandra police station. Additionally, on Tuesday, after Sushant's final post mortem report found no foul play in his death and ruled it a suicide, his viscera report that was sent for analysis to JJ Hospital in Mumbai came negative for any kind of suspicious chemicals/poison of any kind.

A few days back, Abhishek Trimukhe, the Deputy Commissioner of Police released a statement in which he revealed that the investigation into Sushant's suicide is currently underway and that the police have so far questioned 27 people and have recorded their statement.

Coming back to Sanjana, after Sushant's death, the debut actress had posted a few pictures on her Instagram with the late actor and paid a heartfelt tribute to Sushant. She wrote, "Whoever said time helps heal all wounds, was lying. Some feel like they’re being ripped open, again and again, and bleeding -Of moments that now will forever remain memories, Of laughs together that was but will never again be, Of questions that will remain unanswered, Of disbelief, that only keeps growing But these wounds also contain a film, a gift that everyone is yet to see..."
