Ranveer Singh's 'Gully Girl' Alia Bhatt wraps up the shoot for Zoya Akhtar's film 'Gully Boy'

'Gully Boy' star Alia Bhatt who was busy shooting in the city finally wrapped the film's schedule on Sunday.Director Zoya Akhtar took to her social media sharing a picture of a bouquet with a warm note while bidding adieu to Alia Bhatt. Zoya shared, "Thank you Lulu. What a privilege and pleasure to direct you. Stay delightful. Stay genius. Stay you. Can't wait to do this again.; #gullyboy 

Alia Bhatt who is all set to mark her first collaboration with Zoya Akhtar and Excel Entertainment also took to her social media announcing the film's wrap.

The actress posted a mirror picture of her wearing an oversized black T-shirt with Gully Boy written towards the back.

Alia also posted a note which says, “And it’s a film wrap for me on Gully Boy!!! Going to miss this set too much. The best best crew and the best people! Love you all …miss you already my zozo and tutu @zoieakhtar @ranveersingh!!”

Ranveer Singh also took to Instagram sharing Alia's picture captioning, "  #gullygirl".Alia who calls Ranveer tutu also replies saying, "Haha tutu I'm so touched with the special post ". The actress shared a very special bond with director Zoya Akhtar and her co-star Ranveer Singh. They use to call and tease each other with funny nicknames on sets.

'Gully Boy' is a story inspired by slum rappers of Dharavi. Ranveer Singh who is paired opposite Alia Bhatt for the first time on the big screen is playing the role of a street rapper. 

Ever since the film has been announced, Gully Boy has been making an immense buzz be it for the prep videos or the on set leaked images. The film has gone ahead to create huge anticipation amongst the masses. 

The film is Ranveer's second collaboration with Zoya which showcases the actor in a leaner avatar. 

Gully Boy also stars Alia Bhatt who is marking her first outing with Excel Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar will be seen in a never seen before avatar in Gully Boy.

The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles.  
Gully Boy has been creating immense buzz ever since its announcement. Be it for the prep videos or the spottings.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment, Gully Boy is slated to release on 14th February, 2019.
