Rani Mukerji gets candid with BFF designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, shares what happened when she first met Aditya Chopra

Rani Mukerji is all set to make her comeback on the silver screens with the YRF film Hichki. The actress will be seen playing the role of a school teacher suffering from the Tourette's Syndrome. Recently, Rani appeared on Neha Dhupia hosted chat show, BFFs with Vogue, along with her designer friend Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and made quite a few revelations.

While it's known that the Yash Raj Films' head honcho Aditya Chopra is quite a secretive person, not many are aware about how he and Rani first met. Sharing the incident of her first meeting with Aditya, Rani revealed, "After having faced failure for a couple of my films, luckily Mujhse Dosti Karoge happened and that's when I met Adi first time professionally. He told me that I'm doing a couple of crap films and that people have pressured him not to take me because they think you don't have the equity for a Yash Raj film. But Adi had belief in my talent and me and thought that I was good for the part. My mother and I have been very upfront people always and I like frankness and openness so I like the fact that he was on my face."

In a separate segment on the same show, Neha asked Rani about the one quality that she wouldn't want Adira to possess. Here's what Rani had to say, "His immense passion for food!"
