Ranbir Kapoor is all smiles at Neetu Kapoor's birthday celebrations, fans notice Alia Bhatt's absence

Neetu Singh may have lost her husband Rishi Kapoor on April 30 but she was still surrounded by love and laughter as she celebrated her birthday eve on Tuesday with her children Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. 

Ranbir was all smiles and looked dapper wearing a green coloured shirt with prints, sporting a quarantine beard. Neetu's children made sure that the coronavirus lockdown does not hamper any plans as they arranged for lovely balloon decoration for their "iron lady".

However, fans noticed one particular person absent from the pictures, Ranbir's girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The actress who is part of all the Kapoor functions ever since she started dating Ranbir is absent from all the pictures from the birthday dinner. The comments on all the pictures posted on social media were disabled as well.

For the uninformed, Rishi passed away in April after a two-year-long battle with cancer. After his death, his family issued a statement saying, "He was grateful for the love of his fans that poured in from the world over. In his passing, they would all understand that he would like to be remembered with a smile and not with tears. In this hour of personal loss, we also recognise the world is going through a very difficult and troubled time. There are numerous restrictions around movement and gathering in public. We would like to request all his fans and well-wishers and friends of the family to please respect the laws that are in force. He would not have it any other way."
