Newspaper mistakenly prints Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's photo with JeM terrorists story

One day after Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their baby girl, they found themselves embroiled in a controversy. While social media was abuzz with the birth of their daughter, a blunder made by a newspaper printing house is what caught everyone's attention. 

For the uninformed, the print media newspaper had an article with the headline '2 JeM terrorists arrested in J&K' but it was carrying a photo of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli under it.

Twitterati had multiple reactions to the goof-up made by the newspaper. While some pointed out their mistakes, others poked fun at the publication. 

It was on January 11 that Virat Kohli had announced the birth of his daughter. His post read, "We are thrilled to share with you that we’ve been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat (sic)."

Virat who had taken a paternity leave for the birth of his first child will be a part of the Indian team in the upcoming series against England at the home turf.

Anushka and Virat said, "Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us for all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support."

The couple added, "While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same."
