How Yami Gautam’s college lessons helped her prep for 'Uri'

Yami Gautam was set to become a lawyer before she dropped out of law college to try out acting. However, her legal lessons came in handy when she had to prep for her role as an advocate in her next. Says a source, “Yami had taken up law in college, and as part of her course had visited courtrooms and hearings. So, this basic knowledge came in handy for the role. She also read Hindi Literature books to improve her diction.”

The film toplined by Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, looks at the discrepancies of electric billing by private companies, especially in two-tier cities in India.
