Chaleya, the romantic track from Jawan, is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is titled Hayyoda in Tamil and Chalona in Telugu versions.
After the foot-tapping dancing number Zinda Banda, the Jawan makers have released the second song from Jawan titled Chaleya in Hindi, Hayyoda in Tamil, and Chalona in Telugu. The romantic track features scintillating chemistry between the leads Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, who makes her Bollywood debut with the upcoming actioner.
The soundtrack of Jawan has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The Hindi version Chaleya has the soothing vocals of Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao with lyrics by Kumaar, the Tamil version Hayyoda is sung by Anirudh himself and Priya Mali with lyrics by Vivek, and the Telugu version Chalona has been crooned by Adithya Rk and Priya Mali with lyrics by Chandrabose, who shared the Oscar earlier this year, along with composer MM Keeravani, for RRR's Naatu Naatu.
Shah Rukh Khan's close friend and filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan has choreographed the music video for the song in all the three languages. Fans are applauding the chemistry between SRK and Nayanthara, the melodious music, and vocals by Arijit and Shilpa, who have previously collaborated on beautiful songs such as Ghoomer, Kalank Duet, and Tere Hawaale.
Jawan marks Atlee's Bollywood debut, who has previously helmed three back-to-back superhits with Thalapathy Vijay namely Theri, Mersal, and Bigil. The film features Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist and will be his second Hindi film after the thriller Mumbaikar came out earlier this year. Deepika Padukone also makes a special appearance in the much-awaited actioner.
Also starring Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya among others, Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film will release worldwide in theatres on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
