At the round table with the minister, leading academicians of the city gave their proposal on how to include STEM in academics. The round table was attended by professor Errol D'Souza, Director, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, professor Sudhir Jain, Director, IIT-Gn, Pankaj Chandra, Vice-chancellor, Ahmedabad University, Dr Himanshu Pandya, Vice-chancellor, GU among others.
Professor Errol D'Souza, director of IIMA said " I focused on how students of maths learn algebraic functions when they need that in an engineering class, importance of self management in a world where people will work autonomously and remotely and ability to think systemically with big picture perspectives and verbal and non- verbal communication for conveying increasingly complex problems at the workplace.
