Arvind Trivedi, who played the role of 'Raavan' in Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayana', rerun on Doordarshan recently, joined Twitter. The actor also went on to appeal to his fans to stay at home in times of coronavirus lockdown.

He tweeted, "Due to my kids and because of your unconditional love, I have joined Twitter. This is my original ID. Whoever retweets my tweet with #RaavanOnTwitter on April 18, I will follow them without second thoughts. Jai Shri Ram. Om Namah Shivaay." Arvind even went on to retweet a few of his fans' tweets, leaving his own comments on them.

After posting some interesting pictures with 'Lakshman' Sunil Lahri, the actor also shared a video asking his fans to stay at home. "Hello saathiyon, aapse binti hai ki aap ghar mein rahe (I plead for you to stay at home)," he is heard saying in the video.

Trivedi has also been sharing the importance of yoga on his page. The actor might have joined two days back but he also posts interesting throwback pictures with his co-stars Arun Govil who played the role of Ram on the show, and Sunil Lahri, who has gained fame as Lakshman from 'Ramayan'.
