Vikas Gupta slams celebs 'who are eager to help' Siddharth Shukla's mother after his death, says 'she has two daughters'

Sidharth Shukla bid farewell to the world on Thursday. His mother, sisters and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Kaur Gill were present at his cremation.

The film and TV fraternity were left shocked and grief-stricken after Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise on September 2. Photos and videos of celebs arriving at Sidharth’s residence and for his funeral went viral on social media. Anushka Sharma and Kriti Sanon even slammed the media for their coverage around the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner’s death. 

Now, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ fame and producer Vikas Gupta has called out PR and celebrities who came forward to help Sidharth’s mother, Rita Shukla after his death. The actor lost his father 15 year ago. Vikas reminded everyone that Sidharth’s mother has two daughters and also Shehnaaz Gill to take care of her.

“All the Celebs & their PR - who are so eager to help #SiddharthShukla Mom saying she is alone Incase You arnt aware She has two daughters & dont forget #ShehnaazGill They have each other  & these women can take care of even You All if need be. Others keep them in Ur Prayers,” Vikas wrote in his tweet.

Gupta’s tweet left the internet divided as some agreed with him while other’s claimed that he himself did the same thing. 

One user wrote, “Absolutely agree with you.... No need for anybody.... Door raho sab unse... Jeete samay nahin pooche bade aye sympathize karne....Rita Aunty & Sana are strong enough to overcome this.... Sher ke ladies hai…”

Another user wrote, “We know Rita aunty and shehnaaz are really strong ,they don't need anybody.... But you were the one seen supporting Rita aunty at the funeral.... Is that your statagy or care??? You can't point at anybody else if you were doing the same... Right??”

Earlier, actress Gauahar Khan also took to her social media handle to slam those 'giving interviews' after paying their last respects to the 'Bigg Boss 13' winner and extending condolences to his family. 

Taking to her verified Twitter handle, Gauahar wrote, "Any one who has met a grieving family, should not give out details. Really sad to see people giving interviews about family members and sharing details. Stop! Please stop! If you have gone to pay your respect don't come out and become a khabri (informer) and add to the low standard of journalism.”

Sidharth Shukla bid farewell to the world on Thursday morning in Mumbai. While the exact reason behind his demise has not been revealed yet, several reports stated that the 40-year-old actor died due to a heart attack. He was cremated on Friday at Oshiwara crematorium this afternoon. His mortal remains were brought from the Cooper Hospital- Mumbai in an ambulance decorated with flowers. Sidharth's mother Rita Shukla, sisters and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, who was accompanied by her brother Shehbaz were present at the crematorium.
