TV star Shweta Tiwari and her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli's ugly war of words after a failed marriage and their legal fight for the custody of their son Reyansh isn't hidden from anyone.

Recently, after Abhinav accused Shweta of abandoning their son to participate in the stunt-based reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11', Shweta too hit back with a shocking video that showed Kohli allegedly assaulting her and son Reyansh.

Now, in a recent interview, the 'Bigg Boss' fame actor's first husband, Raja Chaudhary, has spoken on Shweta's tryst with bad marriages.

Raja, who was accused by Shweta of domestic violence back in 2007, talked to a leading daily about his ex-wife's relationship with Abhinav Kohli.

Siding with his ex-wife, Raja averred that she isn't a bad woman and in fact, is an excellent mother and it’s just unfortunate that both her marriages failed and ended up in the middle of a controversy.

While speaking to Times of India, Raja said, "The pattern is the same and that is why people are questioning Shweta. See, there is no doubt that Shweta is an excellent mother and a very good wife. It is just a sheer coincidence and her bad luck that history is repeating itself with her and her second marriage too has failed. But then this doesn't make her wrong or a bad person."

On what he had to say about how things are unfolding between Shweta and her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli, Raja said, "I can't comment anything on that, but yes, one thing I would like to say that Shweta should allow Abhinav to meet his son."

He added that  Shweta should understand that a father would never hurt his child, and therefore, both Reyansh and Abhinav deserve to be together.

On the work front, Sheta is currently in Cape Town shooting for the upcoming season of reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' along with other contestants like 'Bigg Boss 14' fame Abhinav Shukla, Nikki Tamboli and Rahul Vaidya, actors Arjun Bijlani, Anushka Sen and others.
