Popular actress Kashmera Shah often makes headlines for various reasons, including her professional and personal feuds. Recently, she took an indirect dig at 'Bigg Boss 14' contestants Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla, while mentioning that the previous season of the controversial reality show was uninteresting as compared to 'Bigg Boss 15'.
While praising the current season of 'Bigg Boss', Kashmera took to Twitter and wrote, "Just saw last night’s episode and this season of @BiggBoss kicks last season’s a**. Superb job team for casting interesting people that are interested in playing the game and don’t spend their entire time in doing yoga and eating apples @ColorsTV @BeingSalmanKhan #bb15."
Soon after noticing Kashmera's tweet, Rubina quote-tweeted and wrote, "Sending you love and strength." However, her tweet didn't impress Kashmera. She replied, "Thank you but I avoid fake love and fake strength. So should you."
Meanwhile, Rubina's husband and ex-Bigg Boss 14 contestant Abhinave wrote in reply to Kashmera's tweet, "For all those who are struggling to tweet something, apparently smart to get back to do another INSIPID stint in BB i will send 10 Kgs of apples and if you don’t get another stint ….Yoga really helps! #wasteoftweet."
The following day, in one of her tweets, Kashmera indirectly hit out at Rubina and Abhinav. She claimed that the couple has paid followers on social media who they were using to attack her.
Kashmera wrote, "Also I understand that a lot of celebs hire fake people and make fake accounts to attack real people. In the end when they stop paying people to write about them is when the problem sets in. #dontbelieveyourowncreatedpress #fakefans #paidfollowers."
Kashmera's tweet didn't go well with Singer Jaan Kumar Sanu, who was also seen inside the 'Bigg Boss 14' house. He wrote, 'real people and real emotions still exist'. He tweeted, "Seriously? Sab kuch paid nai hota. I think in this era of 'purchased fandom' people forget that Real People & Real Emotions still exist! @RubiDilaik I want my "payment" in the form of life-long friendship, love, and blessings from you & @ashukla09 ! #GetReal #BB14 #BB15."
Rubina’s fans also started criticising Kashmera for spreading negativity on social media. One of Rubina's fans commented, "Don't run away from receiving love Kash. It will help you deal with all this toxicity inside you better."
While speaking to ETimes TV, Kashmera clarified that she didn't target anyone. She averred, "I don't know why they (read; Rubina and Abhinav) reacted. Are they acknowledging that this is all they did, especially Abhinav? Also, why did other participants not react? Why only these two?" She further added, “Why are only these two reacting? Did no one else eat apples in the house? And Mr A Shukla needs to check IMDB before he comments on my achievements. Please introduce him to Google."
"I don't target anybody especially where 'Bigg Boss' is concerned. My reaction is of an audience. I think this season is awesome and that what I wrote last season saying that it was boring as hell was something I was also a part of," Kashmera concluded.
