Darren Lehmann has confirmed that the team-think tank have not yet decided on Harris' inclusion in the Gabba test.
Australia coach Darren Lehmann has admitted that Ryan Harris is 'not sure' to be in the squad for Wednesday's Gabba Test against India, although the veteran paceman had last summer mocked those who questioned his ability to back up for all five Ashes Tests.
Harris, who is rated number four bowler in the world and averages 4.2 wickets in 25 Tests, claimed 1-55 and 1-49 in tough conditions in against India in Adelaide, as he played in his first Test since coming back from off-season knee surgery. The Gabba pitch is set to suit the powerful right-armer as he partners Mitchell Johnson in a world-beating attack, but it is possible only if Australia doesn't have to rest Harris, News.com.au reported.

Lehmann said that they might need to rest Harris, adding that they would see how 'they pull up'. He said that he 'doesn't know yet' about the final decision as Harris has just come back in the side. The coach said that 'if they are not 100 percent they won't play', adding that a couple of players are sore but the next day or two would tell. Victorian first-change seamer Peter Siddle, who took two wickets in Adelaide, battled illness in the first innings and struggled to keep his pace above 130 kilometers-per-hour at times.
Uncapped youngster Josh Hazelwood is also in the Test squad and pushing for a debut, while left-armer Mitchell Starc has been brought in on standby. Australia's bowling hero in Adelaide was man of the match Nathan Lyon, whose 12-286 was his first 10-wicket haul in a Test.
Lehmann said that Lyon was 'an important threat' in the Gabba Test last summer against England and would remain 'a major weapon' despite the expectation that pacemen would be dominant.
