India's Prithviraj Tondaiman, Zoravar Singh Sandhu, and Kynan Darius Chenai secured the gold medal in the men's trap team event at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou on Sunday.
The Indian team emerged victorious with a total of 361 points on the leaderboard, claiming the top honors. Kuwait secured the silver medal, while China finished third, earning the bronze.
All three Indian participants finished within the top eight during the qualification round, but only Sandhu and Kynan will compete in the individual final later today.

In the women's trap team event, Rajeshwari Kumari, Manisha Keer, and Preeti Rajak secured the silver medal with a total of 337 points. China clinched the gold with a world-record-breaking score of 356 points, while Kazakhstan won the bronze with 335 points. Manisha, with an impressive score of 114 points, advances to the individual final.
With this gold medal, India's overall medal tally reaches 41, solidifying their position as the fourth-ranked nation in the overall medal standings.
