The post-mortem report of Chetan Saini has raised eyebrows of those who believed that Saini was murdered and then hanged.

DNA, on Wednesday, received a copy of the post-mortem report which states that the “Cause of Death is asphyxia as a result of anti-mortem compression around neck.”

The report further reveals that the right side of the body was injured due to bruises that may have been caused by rubbing against a rough surface.

The right wrist has "three abnormal" bruises, the right shoulder bone was bruised, and the right forearm had a muscle injury. In addition to this, the skin was peeled off in a large area of the upper back and on the left cheek.

The calf area of the left leg also had bruises which appear to be caused by rubbing.

However, it cannot yet be stated whether he had consumed alcohol. Parts of the internal organs of the body, including a loop of small intestines, liver, skin, kidney, and lungs, have been sent for a biochemical test. The result of the same will reveal whether Chetan had consumed  alcohol before his death.

The overall condition of the body was "averagely built and malnourished."

“The police are probing at a slow pace. We are hoping to get justice,” said Ramratan Saini, brother of Chetan Saini.

The Forensic Science Laboratory finally received the samples from the crime spot on Wednesday, informed BB Arora, director, Forensic Department.
“The samples have been submitted to the laboratory. It will be examined by the concerned experts. I have to see the material to find out how it will be treated. For example, there may be Visera material, and hand writing material. Depending upon the quantum of the physical material, the time of procedure will be decided," Arora said.
