BHUBANESWAR: Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) has collaborated with Bharti Airtel to launch various programmes through v-sat technology to help working executives located in different cities attend live classes, sources said.

The institute has also entered into an agreement with NIS Sparta, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company.

XIMB would be using their infrastructural training facilities spread across 28 cities and 30 centres in the country, said XIMB Director E Abraham.

Abraham said the initiative would enable students to pursue high quality management education without coming to the institute on regular basis in Bhubaneswar.

Indranil Ghosal, chief project manager (technology enabled learning) of the institute said XIMB plans to launch various other career oriented management programmes though v-sat mode this year.

NIS Sparta vice-president Manoj Chawla was among the speakers.
