Viral! Juice shop encroaches ATM, puts chairs inside for customers

You may be getting a lot of texts and email from banks advising you not to share your ATM pin with anyone and cover the keypad when you enter it at an ATM. However, in a bizarre video that has surfaced, a juice vendor in Amravati has made a mockery of the safety guidelines and installed chairs inside the ATM for its customers.

The matter came to light after videos showing the vendor running a shop from just outside the ATM  in Maharashtra’s Amravati city surfaced.

What is even more interesting is that the ATM machine has been pushed aside to make room for chairs for customers of the juice shop to sit. The shop owner has also made seating arrangements for those coming there to withdraw money from the ATM.

A video of the said ATM-cum-Juice centre shows people withdrawing money from the ATM in the presence of others sitting on chairs.

While this is clearly against the bank rules which mandate that only one person is allowed inside the ATM at a time, it also puts the safety and privacy of ATM users at huge risk.

Now, it is for the people to decide how safe the PIN number of those withdrawing money from this ATM will be.
