Terrorists slit throat of 19-yr-old in South Kashmir's Shopian, 2nd murder in 36 hours

Taking a cue from the dreaded ISIS, terrorists brutally killed a 19-year-old youth by slitting his throat in South Kashmir's Shopian district. This is the second incident in which a teenager has been killed by the terrorists in the last 36 hours in South Kashmir.

Huzaif Ashraf of Manzgam Kulgam was among the three youth abducted by the militants on Saturday from Shopian district. Later Huzaif was taken to Hermain village where his throat was slit in a brutal manner.

Police said terrorists killed a civilian in a brutal act of terror after he was kidnapped earlier in the day from Saidpora area of Shopian.

"Police retrieved the body of civilian from Hermain village in Shopian. He has been identified as Huzaif Ashraf. The body of Huzaif was handed over to his family after completion of the medico-legal formalities", said a police spokesman.

Police said a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in the concerned Police Station and investigation has been initiated." Huzaif is the second teenager to have been killed in last 36 hours. Terror plagued Kashmir had slipped into a shock on Friday when dreaded Hizbul Mujhadeen released a bone-chilling video of shooting an abducted teenager Nadeem Manzoor in cold blood in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir.

The killings have evoked a sharp reaction from the mainstream parties while as separatist groups have withdrawn into a shell.
