Violent protests spread to towns and cities in many states ahead of the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat. Suspected Shree Rajput Karni Sena members torched a bus and attacked another with school children in Gurgaon as their protests turned violent.
Protesters violated prohibitory orders in Gurugram where they highway blocked highway and torched a Haryana Roadways bus.
Around 20-25 students of a leading Gurgaon school also came into the net of violence unleashed by the fringe groups. The G D Goenka World School students were on their way home when a group of around 60 protesters, believed to be members of a fringe group, attacked the bus.
A video clip showing terrified children crawling under the seat went viral on social media. Twitter users hit out at violent mobs, especially Karni Sena members for their action.
