Mehbooba Mufti's Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Omar Abdullah's National Conference are both shunning the masks of friendship to accuse each other of massacres and killings. The bitterness surfaced after Abdullah criticised Mehbooba for visiting families of terrorists in south Kashmir.

"The architect of Operation All Out and overseer of the operations that killed hundreds of terrorists since 2015 is now going from one terrorists' home to the next trying to rehabilitate a badly damaged reputation. She used terrorists by sanctioning their deaths to appease the BJP and now she uses dead terrorists to try to appease the voter. Just how gullible does she think people are?," Abdullah tweeted after Mehbooba visited the family of slain soldier-turned-terrorist at Safnagri in Shopian district.

Minutes after the tweet, the PDP went hammer and tongs against the NC chief blaming his party for rigging polls and massacres.

"Very unfortunate that a person who inherited massacres and whose party is responsible for pushing Kashmiris in uncertainty by rigging elections for power is saying this all. You should rather act as party and reach out to people as it's a collective responsibility @OmarAbdullah", tweeted PDP

PDP also accused the NC for bleeding innocents through Ikhwanis (surrendered militants turned counter insurgents).

"PDP believes in outreach with its own people whatever the circumstances be. PDP would like to know if you are offended with @MehboobaMufti outreach or just it is typical NC politics to bleed innocents to death by way of Ikwanis", the party said.

The gloves between two parties were off just one and half months after both joined hands together to stake claim for formation of the government along with Congress. However, amid high drama, governor Satya Pal Malik dissolved the Legislative Assembly.

Even Peoples Conference chairman Sajad Lone, who too had staked claim for the government formation, joined the debate accusing both leaders of theatrics.

"The two dynasties are at it again. Enacting theatre. A month or so back both were squeaky clean. Now the gloves are off. Accuse each other by the day confer by the night. Winking on twitter hoodwinking en masse. One has 2010 to his credit the other has 2016 to her credit", Lone tweeted.

PDP was quick to hit back accusing Lone of pushing youth into militancy. "People & parties who advocated Gun and pushed youth into Militancy by using political Ikhwans idea and proxies to defame Kashmir cause are now claiming to be the aspirants of change. Sheer hypocrisy @sajadlone", the party said
