Maharashtra: Gelatin sticks and explosives recovered from Raigad, 1 arrested

Police have recovered a massive cache of explosives and gelatin sticks from a resident in Raigad, Maharashtra, reports Zee Media. He has been taken into custody for questioning. According to reports, Maharashtra police recovered have recovered  46 gelatine rods and 965 detonators from Managao area of Raigad.

They have arrested Mohammed Omar Jamir Kanji in connection with this case. According to reports, Kanji had kept all these explosives in a rented room. Police have arrested him for stocking such a huge amount of explosives illegally. They are currently questioning him in this matter. According to initial leads, the Raigad SP has said that the explosives were stocked illegally for digging a well in the area.
