National Chairman of AICC's Ex- servicemen Department Major Ved Prakash today said the fate of the BJP-led alliance in the Lok Sabha polls would not be different from last two general elections when its "propagnda" had failed to bear fruit.
"The BJP had indulged in massive propaganda in the past two Lok Sabha elections but it all proved futile and the fate of their alliance this time would not be any different," Prakash said.
Attacking BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Prakash said, "the self-styled prime ministerial candidate of the BJP is busy in his own propaganda and is also saying a lot of negative things following which the BJP workers are also not happy. I don't think they (BJP) would succeed," he said.
The Congress leader said people vote for a party which speaks of development and pursues progressive policy.
Maj Prakash who also held a meeting of district unit presidents of Ex-servicemen Department of the state two days ago said that there is all round happiness over one rank one pension for ex-servicemen and they know that Congress has always had good intentions for the welfare of people serving in armed forces.
