Azad urges authorities to ensure medical care to blast injured in Hyderabad

Union Health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad directed health authorities in Andhra Pradesh to ensure "best possible" medical care to those injured in the twin bomb blasts, undergoing treatment in different hospitals.

After a visit to the crime scene this evening, he reviewed the situation with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and senior officials at the CM's camp office.

He was informed that bodies of the 16 victims were handed over to their kin today.

Azad, who is also the Congress in-charge of the state, discussed the steps taken by the state government after the blast, with state ministers Sabita Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Kondru Murali and others.
