The war of words between friends-turned-foes Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan continues.

Shah Rukh and Salman have not been on talking terms for the last few years, and often take potshots at each other at public functions.

At a recent party given by business tycoon Mukesh Ambani to celebrate Sachin Tendulkar's 100th century, Salman said, "Nobody can touch Sachin's record." Then he went on to say the famous dialogue from the film Don: `Don ko pakad na mushkil hee nahi, namumkin hai.' (It's impossible to catch the Don.)

The 1978 film's remake had starred Shah Rukh in the title role. SRK on Monday said at an event: "I am happy I wasn't there (Ambani's party) to face those negative stories. I am numb by the kind of stories I read about myself. I try not to take them seriously and comment about them."

When asked for reaction, Salman, at another event, said, "I think the comments were good...My father did not take objection to my using the dialogues."

His father Salim Khan had co-written the original film.
