Sherlyn Chopra to date Chris Gayle?

Starlet Sherlyn Chopra might not be going great guns in her career, but that hasn’t stopped her from attracting male attention.

Sherlyn says West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle had asked her out during the just-concluded domestic T20 cricket tournament. In fact, sources say the duo even partied together when Gayle was in India last month.

Though Sherlyn says they partied together, she denies any hint of an affair between them.

She says, “I’m quite conventional at heart. Just because he has asked me out doesn’t mean that I will plunge into a relationship. He is a fun guy to hang out with but I need to get to know him well enough to even think of going forward. But we did have a great time partying together where he told me that he wants to date me.”

Eyewitnesses say both hit it off right from the moment they stepped on to the dance floor.

Sherlyn says, “Chris is a great dancer. He can totally work the floor with his movements. We did some dirty dancing and I had fun.”

She adds, “But I liked him. He came across as an honest person and I like the way he bats and he has a great physique. I would definitely want to know him more."
