RIP! Kannada TV actor Susheel Gowda dies by suicide at 30

In another shocking news, Kannada television actor Susheel Gowda died by suicide on Wednesday. The actor who was a part of the popular TV show Antahpura was also a certified fitness trainer and enthusiast. The director of the show Aravind Kaushik took to his Facebook page and confirmed the death of Susheel. He shared a photo of the late actor and paid condolences by his expressing his shock and sadness.

Aravind wrote on his Facebook page, "Sad news I heard. Susheel Gowda who played the lead in the tv serial Antahpura that I directed is no more. Rest in Peace." While another director Duniya Vijay who helmed an upcoming film titled Salaga stars Susheel in the role of a cop. He penned a tribute in Kannada on his Facebook page.

His post read as "I only know him from shooting for 30 days for the film. And his passing gives him so much pain. Imagine the pain of his parents, who brought him up for 30 years. I don’t think such deaths will stop here this year. People are losing hope and livelihood due to coronavirus pandemic. We should stay strong to defeat this crisis."

Susheel was 30 and the reason for his death is still unknown. The incident took place in Mandya area of Karnataka. A Mandya Superintendent of Police told a portal, "Susheel Gowda took his own life in his house located in Induvalu, Mandya. His mortal remains have been handed over to the family after post-mortem. An investigation is now underway."
