Comeback

“I was never away. I wanted to spend some time with my parents in Dehradun. I feel all TV actors who keep demanding schedules (she played Karishma in ‘Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) must take such breaks.

When you come back, you can put a lot more into your work. In the meanwhile, I did a couple of cameos in ‘Millie’, ‘Siddhant’, and ‘Special Squad’.”

‘Jet Set Go’

“Vipul Shah (Optimystix) offered me to play anchor in this adventure show. I had worked with Vipulji in ‘Yeh Meri Life Hain’. I’m comfortable working with this unit.”

‘Arranged Marriage’

“I am also shooting for the serial ‘Arranged Marriage’. This will see me playing the role of a Bengali girl. I am playing a comic role for the first time. I have also got few big-screen offers. Wait and watch!”

Being selective

“I am very selective about what I accept. I don’t believe in joining the rat-race. I ensure that I get enough time to pamper myself. I am a shopping freak and love to spend time with my friends and cook for them. I enjoy watching international movies.  I recently watched an Iranian film ‘Leila’. It deals with the hardships women endure in conservative countries.”
