'Most Eligible Bachelor' teaser: Akhil Akkineni gets savage partner in Pooja Hegde

The teaser for Most Eligible Bachelor, an upcoming Telugu film is finally out. The film stars Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles wherein he is in search for a life partner. In the teaser released during Dussehra 2020, we see Akhil's character meeting girls during an arranged marriage set up. He asks everyone what are they expecting from marriage but doesn't get a satisfactory answer. Akhil shows his frustration by talking about his desire for 'wild night' in marriage.

Then comes the female lead Pooja Hegde, who is the one giving it back to Akhil for his cheesy outlook. She shuts him down savagely leaving him spellbound instantly. Most Eligible Bachelor is a romcom directed by Bommarillu Baskar and presented by Allu Aravind.

Back in September this year, Akhil and Pooja resumed the shoot of the film. He took to his Instagram page and shared a photo posing with Hegde and captioned it stating, "What a feeling to get back to work finally! Life moves on and it feels great. Ps: I promise we are the only ones without a mask on otherwise you wouldn’t recognise us in the film #MostEligibleBachelor @hegdepooja."

Most Eligible Bachelor is produced by Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma on GA2 Pictures. The music is composed by Gopi Sunder. The film is eyeing for a Makar Sankranti release in 2021. 

This is the first outing of Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde on the big screen.
