Isha Ambani - Anand Piramal Pre-Wedding Celebrations: A Water World to be created on the ghats of Lake Pichola, Udaipur

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s pre-wedding ceremonies at the picturesque Lake Pichola in Udaipur on December 8 and 9 will be a fairytale extravaganza. 

After Hrs has access to plans footed by the event management company, DNA Networks, which has been hired by the hosts to create a water world built on pontoons and boats. The plan involves setting up a massive pontoon on one of the ghats of Lake Pichola. “They have requested one at the Udai Vilas Ghat that can accommodate 1,000 guests at a time,” a source says. 

Multiple flat-bottomed boats, which will hold a huge idol of the Ambani’s revered deity, Lord Shrinathji, will also float on the lake. “The family has requested a floral set up on the vessel holding the idol of Shrinathji. Dancers will perform on the floating stage, in keeping with Indian customs and traditions. The hosts also plan to conduct a maha aarti to seek blessings of their lord,” adds the source. 

Officials in the government confirmed to After Hrs that they have received a proposal for floating multiple pontoons on Lake Pichola. “This falls under the jurisdiction of the Lake Conservation Authority. The matter has been referred to the chief secretary’s office for further directions,” an official said.

The bash at Lake Pichola is also likely to feature water fountains on the lake, which will recreate the Lake Como setting where Isha and Anand had exchanged rings in September.
