Baahubali: The Beginnng and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released in 2015 and 2017 respectively are among the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema with collection of over Rs 2500 crore cumulatively. The SS Rajamouli-directed period action dramas also made Prabhas a pan-India superstar as the actor nailed the father-son dual roles of Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali.

The film gained a cult status over the years and its frenzy among the audiences hasn't reduced even after six years. On Sunday, one of Prabhas' fans took to X (previous known as Twitter) and shared a photo of his statue in the Baahubali avatar from the Mysore wax museum. His picture went viral and reached the film's producer Shobhu Yarlagadda.

Seeing how the statue looked absolutely different from Prabhas' character in the film, Shobhu reaced to the netizen's post angrily and threatened action against the Mysore museum. He wrote, "This not an officially licensed work and was done without our permission or knowledge. We will be taking immediate steps to get this removed."

Apart from Prabhas, the two Baahubali films featured Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, and Nassar in the leading roles. The filmmaker SS Rajamouli himself made a cameo appearance in the song Manohari in the first part Baahubali: The Beginning.

Meanwhile, Prabhas will be seen next in Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. Slated to hit theatres on September 28, the film has been delayed. Now, latest reports suggest that the makers are planning to release Salaar on December 22, and if that happens, the film will clash with Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, resulting in one of the biggest box office battles.
