Avatar director James Cameron has hinted that the Avatar sequel may be shot in the Amazon rainforests.

He, however, revealed that he did not know when he would film in the Amazon.

Cameron visited some parts of the Amazon rainforests after attending the international sustainability forum in the Brazilian city of Manaus, reports The Daily Express.

Even after being the highest grossing film in the history of cinema, Avatar did not escape from the clutches of online pirates and is the most pirated film of all times as well, Cameron had earlier revealed.

"Avatar is the highest grossing film in history and the most pirated film. It is true. But the piracy hasn't hurt the Box Office," Cameron said.
