Akshara Haasan as Sridevi's beti?

After giving Tevar and son Arjun his all, producer Boney Kapoor has moved on to his next, a film for his wife, Sridevi. Ad filmmaker Ravi Udyavar is on board the project.

This ambitious project is a dramatic and emotional tale of a relationship between a stepmother and stepdaughter and Sri and Akshara Haasan will play the roles accordingly

Akshara, who makes her Bollywood debut with R Balki's Shamitabh, was recommended by the filmmaker who produced Sri's comeback film English Vinglish.

Says a source, "Boney saw portions of Shamitabh and was convinced that this newcomer would be able to share screen space with his wife."

Interestingly, the senior actress and Akshara's father Kamal Haasan have done 21 films in Tamil together and just one in Hindi - Sadma.

Highlight: Tevar also had a ad-maker directing the film.
