Jharkhand JAC Board Exam 2021 postponed? Latest updates students must know

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren may make a big announcement regarding the Jharkhand Board examinations on Friday (April 16). 

In view of the rising COVID-19 cases in the state, the CM had a meeting with other senior officials including the Chief Secretary, and said that it may be decided to postpone the JAC (Jharkhand Academic Council) Board examinations. 

Earlier on Thursday (April 15), CM Hemant Soren had a long discussion with officials on the matriculation and inter examinations of the JAC Board regarding the dangerously growing corona virus infection in Jharkhand. 

Concerned about the future of the students, Soren said that keeping in the mind the COVID-19 situation, serious discussion are being held on Jharkhand Board's Matriculation and Inter examinations. A decision on this is expected to be taken on Friday (April 16). 

The Central Government on Wednesday (April 14) had taken a big decision on the CBSE exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has canceled this year's class 10 exam while the class 12 exams have been postponed.

CM Hemant Soren has said that the government will soon decide the future of about 7.5 lakh students of Jharkhand appearing for the JAC Board exams.
