Mamata Banerjee, chief minister of West Bengal, will be among the guests at Arvind Kejriwal's swearing-in ceremony that is scheduled for February 16 in Delhi's Ramlila Maidan.

She will leave for the national capital on February 15 at 5:30 PM and will be back in Kolkata after the ceremony on the next day.

On Tuesday, after results showed that the Aam Aadmi Party will emerge as the winner, Mamata congratulated Kejriwal.

The CM on Tuesday congratulated Arvind Kejriwal on his victory, saying that only those who deliver on promises are rewarded.

"Congratulations Arvind Kejriwal as Delhi Results show Aam Aadmi Party all set to win Delhi Election 2020 with a thumping majority yet again. Leaders playing on faith through hate speech & divisive politics should take a cue, as only those who deliver on their promises are rewarded," she wrote on Twitter.

On Wednesday evening, Kejriwal wrote to Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Anil Baijal staking claim to form the government in Delhi for the third time.

The incumbent chief minister had earlier met Baijal at the Raj Niwas. 

The party won 62 out of the total 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly.

Kejriwal will be sworn in along with his minister on February 16 at the Ramlila Maidan as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) forms a government for the third time. 

The AAP swept the 2020 Delhi Assembly polls, bagging 62 out 70 seats and decimating its rivals BJP and Congress. The BJP bagged eight seats while the Congress failed to open its account in the second consecutive election.
