Finally, Sharjah saw a good high total on the board as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) posted 164 runs and lost seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs against Punjab Kings (PBKS). This was the highest score at Sharjah this season.

Batting first after winning the toss, the innings was divided into three halves. The first being the Virat Kohli-Devdutt Padikkal phase.

The next could be in favour of Punjab as Moises Henriques stole the show after he took three crucial wickets. However, it was the third phase - the Glenn Maxwell carnage with the help of AB de Villiers. RCB have again started the clash on a positive note as they had two 50+ runs partnerships.

As for Punjab, Mohammed Shami and Moises Henriques both took three wickets each.
