Babar Azam scored the first Test hundred of his career against New Zealand on Sunday. Azam was dismissed 99 against Australia last month and had scored 92 and 62 in this series. However, he finally registered his maiden Test hundred on Sunday.

His 127 against New Zealand took him ahead of Indian skipper Virat Kohli in terms of average in 2018. He already has five half-centuries in the 10 innings he has played so far in 2018. Virat Kohli has an average of 59.05 while Azam averages 67.71.

Azam was congratulated by cricketers, analysts and fans took on Twitter for his maiden Test century and magnificent performance with the bat.

However, there was one congratulatory tweet that did not sit well with the Pakistan cricketer.

Cricket presenter Zainab Abbas posted a tweet after Azam's hundred to commend him on his innings. However, she also made a cheeky reference calling him Mickey Arthur's son.

She tweeted, “Well played Babar Azam – loved how the boys went congratulating Mickey Arthur celebrating his “son’s” century.”

It seemed Azam was not happy with with the comment and slammed Abbas for “crossing her limits”.

Zainab Abbas has caught the attention of Indian fans when her tweet praising KL Rahul during IPL 2018 has gone viral.

After Rahul's 84-run knock against RR for the Kings, Zainab had hailed the batsman's performance.

“KL Rahul impressive, superb timing, great to watch.. #RrvKXIP,” Zainab tweeted after the conclusion of first match between Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals in Indore.
