The Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS) cell of Delhi government has asked the Services Department to take necessary action regarding timely release of the salaries of the officers/officials who are awaiting posting in it.

The move came after Kuldeep Singh Gangar, a 1990-batch DANICS (Delhi, Anadaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services) officer, filed a suggestion that PGMS form a system under which bureaucrats are paid their salaries on time.

Gangar had on March 14 written to Chief Minister Arvind claiming that he has been without a posting for over four months and, till March 11, had not received his salary for the said period. Responding to Gangar's complaint, PGMS said that all the employees are generally given their pay well in time.

"All branches of the Services Department have been requested to take necessary action regarding timely release of the salaries of the officers/officials who are awaiting posting in Services Department, as per rule. Generally, all the employees are getting their pay well in time," PGMS stated in its response regarding the status of the complaint by Gangar.
