You won’t believe how much Priyanka Chopra’s Met Gala 2019 attire costs

Global icon Priyanka Chopra walked the pink carpet of Met Gala 2019 with husband Nick Jonas in an avant-garde silver Dior outfit. Keeping in mind the dress code that pays homage to Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, “Notes on ‘Camp'”, PC picked an outfit that comprised of a sheer bodice that came with silver criss-cross detailing and a skirt and trailing cape featuring feathers in the shades of grey, pink, red and yellow. She was styled by Mimi Cuttrell.

As per Vogue, the ensemble cost her a whopping Rs 4,583,280 while her Jimmy Choo silver pumps came for Rs 24,030! Mrs Jonas was also dripping head to toe in diamond jewellery by Chopard.

According to Access, Priyanka was bedazzled with over 100 carats of jewellery, including 88.82-carats of pink sapphire briolettes, 3.80-carats of diamond briolettes, 0.38-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold from the luxury design house’s Copacabana Collection. Her earrings itself were worth Rs 450,800.

She also wore three diamond and white gold pendant necklaces from the Happy Diamonds Collection while the stacks of bracelets adoring her wrists were from the Haute Joaillerie Collection.

Reacting to her daughter's viral outfit, mother Madhu Chopra said at a recent media interaction, "Itni door se kya reaction hoga, mere saamne hoti to jhappi lagati, bhut sunder lag rahi thi bhut special lag rahi thi (If she would have been here I would have hugged her, she was looking very beautiful and special)".
