World Cup 2019: Ayushmann Khurrana raises awareness about 'Article 15' beautifully comparing it to Ind-Pak clash

Indians and Pakistanis are waiting with bated breath for India vs Pakistan match to begin at 3 pm. News reports stating that it might rain today have disappointed people, who came together to make memes on the situation. The match unites Indians in India and Pakistanis in Pakistan like no other day.

Making this observation, Ayushmann Khurrana posted a video which also promotes his movie Article 15. The promo highlights how Indians stand united in their countryland just because of India vs Pakistan World Cup 2019 match. In this video posted by the actor, he beautifully incorporated Article 15 of Indian constitution.

Article 15 has been created to diminsh any discrimination among people which happens on the day of India-Pakistan clash on cricket field. The law states, "Article 15 (1) and (2) prohibit the state from discriminating any citizen on ground of any religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth or any of them." It also asserts, "Article 15(3) empowers the state to make special provisions for women and children."

Sharing the video, Ayushmann, last seen in critically acclaimed films Badhaai Ho and AndhaDhun, wrote, "India Pakistan Match Ke Din Hum Sab Indian Hote hain. Sahi Maayene Mein Indian! Toh Kyun Na bhed bhaav Bhool Kar, Roz Hi Sirf Indian Banein?"

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Article 15 will see Ayushmann Khurrana play a cop for the first time. It is based on the story of rape and murder of three minor girls due to discrimination in the society. Also starring Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, the movie is slated to release on June 28.
