Firoz Nadiadwala's Welcome 3 starring Akshay Kumar will hit the theatres on Christmas 2024.
Welcome 3 is one of the most anticipated and much-awaited film, fans are eagerly waiting for the makers to give updates about the film starring Akshay Kumar. The wait is finally over as makers have announced the release date of movie.
On Wednesday, producer Firoz Nadiadwala shared the news that the film will be released on Christmas 2024. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “FIROZ A NADIADWALA LOCKS CHRISTMAS 2024 FOR ‘WELCOME 3’… #WelcomeToTheJungle is the title of the third instalment of #Welcome franchise… Producer #FirozANadiadwala has decided to bring the family entertainer in #Christmas2024.”
Earlier, there were reports that Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi has replaced Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in Akshay Kumar-starrer Welcome 3, now, if reports are to be believed, two lead actresses have also been finalized for the comedy franchise.
As per a report from Pinkvilla, two female leads have been finalized by the team. A source told the entertainment portal, “Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani have signed on to play the female lead of this comic caper. Every Welcome film has a conflict around the female protagonist and this one too will stay true to the world of this franchise. Both Jacqueline and Disha will bring in the right amount of confusion to the story.”
The source further revealed that last week, the Welcome 3 team held a photoshoot at Empire Studio in Andheri and added, “Earlier last week, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Jacqueliene Fernandez, Firoz Nadiadwala, and Ahmed Khan met at Empire Studio for a photo shoot of Welcome 3. They plan to announce the film with this photoshoot shortly.”
While Welcome and Welcome Back was directed by Anees Bazmee, Welcome 3 is reportedly going to be directed by Ahmed Khan who is popularly known for directing Baaghi 2 and 3. This will be his second collaboration with Firoz after Fool n Final.
