A video of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi with the director Rajkumar Hirani has gone viral as netizens assumed Munna Bhai 3 is finally happening.
Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi-starrer, Rajkumar Hirani directorial Munna Bhai MBBS have left a deep impact among moviegoers. The blockbuster comedy-drama has not only created a super-successful franchise but also iconic characters. Fans of the Munna Bhai franchise, who wanted to see Munna (Sanjay Dutt) and Circuit (Arshad Warsi) back together are elated, as the duo has collaborated with the director.
In a viral video, Sanjay Dutt, dressed up in his Munna Bhai look with an orange shirt, enters into a set of a hospital with Hirani. Soon after them Arshad enters the set, and he is seen in Circuit's avatar with the black kurta. After Arshad joins them, Sanjay hugs him and says "We are back," Rajkumar smiles watching their reunion.

As soon as this video surfaced on the net, netizens wondered if Munna Bhai 3 was finally happening. A certain section of netizens hoped that they would come together for a much-awaited comedy sequel, and the third part of the franchise is actually happening. On Reddit, an internet user wrote, "Munna Bhai Chale America Finally?" Another internet user wrote, "Munna Bhai America tak pahunch chuke!" One of the netizens wrote, "God please please please make Munnabhai 3 happen." A netizen wrote, "Omg is it munna bhai? Pls do Munna Bhai. I watched it a few weeks ago and was so nostalgic!"
For the unversed, Munna Bhai MBBS (2003) also starred late actor Sunil Dutt with Gracy Singh, Boman Irani, and Jimmy Shergill. The popular franchise returned with a sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) with Vidya Balan, Boman Irani, Dia Mirza, and Dilip Prabhavalkar.
On the work front, Rajkumar Hirani will bring his next directorial Dunki with Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu. On the other side, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be seen in Welcome 3: Welcome To The Jungle. The much-awaited comedy entertainer is scheduled for December 20, 2024.
