Varun Dhawan shared that if things settle down in the world citing at COVID-19 and its impact, he will plan his wedding with Natasha Dalal in 2021.
One question which is constantly asked Varun Dhawan from the past two years is about his impending wedding to Natasha Dalal. The childhood sweethearts have been making headlines every time the actor posts photos with her or when they make public appearances. Now, once again during a recent interaction, Varun was quizzed about his wedding plans with Natasha. The actor shared that nothing is concrete now and also hinted that it may happen this year.
Varun told Filmfare, "Everyone is talking about this (his marriage) for the last two years. There is nothing concrete right now. There is so much uncertainty in the world right now, but if things settle down (COVID and its impact), then maybe this year. I mean… I am planning for it definitely soon. But let there be more certainty."
Recently, Varun made an appearance on Kareena Kapoor Khan's radio show What Women Want. During the interaction, Kareena kept on addressing Natasha as Varun's fiancée.
However, when Hindustan Times asked Varun if he is engaged to Natasha, the October actor refuted and said, "Honestly, nothing has happened. No ceremony has happened but obviously, when I have been with a person for so many years, the commitment is there and then if one calls her anything of mine, that’s right only because she is. I am in a committed relationship and that means I am only with her and there is no one else."
He also said, "Nahi nahi, aisa kuch bhi nahi hua. For the past 18-20 days, I have been in a live-in relationship with myself only since I was quarantined due to COVID-19."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun will next be seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo alongside Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The film is directed by Raj Mehta of Good Newwz fame.
