Starring Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, Sapthami Gowda, Raima Sen, Girja Oak, Nivedita Bhattacharya, and Mohan Kapur in the lead roles, The Vaccine War has been released in the theatres on Sepember 28. After three days of its release, the makers have launched a 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' offer for the moviegoers. The aim behind this is to make sure the film reaches out to a wide section of the audience, while the nation should witness the glory of India on big screens.

Director Vivek Agnihotri took to his social media handles on Sunday, October 1, morning and wrote in Hindi, "Friends, today on Sunday and on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti holiday on Monday, go watch #TheVaccineWar with your family and get a FREE ticket. Give this free ticket to your house maid or any woman/girl. They and you will enjoy."

Stessing upon the fact that The Vaccine War should be watched at the big screen with your families, director and producer Agnihotri said, "There is no one who doesn't have this vaccine inside their bodies. We very easily forget, but this movie is a great reminder of the efforts, sacrifice, struggle, and success of our scientists, because of whom we are alive today. This film is a celebration of India, a celebration of our scientists, and a celebration of the great Indian spirit. Please watch The Vaccine War with your family and make sure that you show this film to your children."

Vivek's wife Pallavi Joshi, who has also co-produced the film and also plays a pivotal character in The Vaccine War, added, "Indian women have always been strong, stable and resilient. Their dedication to their work is unparalleled. And they also are great cooks and homemakers. This is an inspirational film that celebrates patriotic Indic feminism of our scientists and what they went through trying to save our lives. Visit the theatres with your family, especially your children."

Produced by Pallavi Joshi and I Am Buddha Productions, the film is now screening in cinemas across the nation in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languagues. The movie has collected Rs 3.50 crore within the first three days with an astounding growth of nearly 95% on Saturday.
